Reading: The February calendar is due on Monday, March 2. The new calendar for March will be sent home with this week’s homework folder.
Flu: All the students were back in class this week. We hope the worst of the bug is past.
Money: We are still counting money in math. Please give your student piles of coins to practice counting. The first graders are doing pennies, dimes and nickels. The second graders have added quarters and half dollars to the mix (if you have any half dollars!).
Congratulations: Sasha has just completed her 2nd set of reading 50 classroom books at home. Each time a student completes 50 books he/she gets a gift certificate from Barnes and Noble!
