Ancestors: 9 students have turned in their Family Origin papers. If your student was not one of them, please remember to return the paper in Friday’s homework folder. The students love seeing their name on the big map at the back of the room.
Taste of the Orient: Remember the meal scheduled for this Sunday evening, January 24, from 5:00-7:00. The food will be delicious. The Chef cooked a meal for the staff a couple of years ago. It was wonderful Asian food! Be sure to buy your ticket through the office and come for a feast and to help with the older students’ mission trip.
Offering for Haiti: We will be collecting the offering for ADRA to help the hurting people of Haiti next Friday, January 29. ADRA is on the ground working right now helping as many people as they can. Last Friday they flew into the Dominican Republic and drove into Haiti over the mountains. That saved them from the gridlock at the Port-au-Prince airport.
Parent-Teacher Conferences: Remember we have conferences scheduled for next Wednesday and Thursday, January 27 & 28. The students will be dismissed at 12:30.
