Valentine’s Day Party: Since February 14 is on a Sunday, we will have our Valentine exchange on Friday, the 12th. I have a standing rule that if a child brings Valentines, he/she must include everyone in the class. We certainly don’t want anyone to feel left out. To help facilitate that here are the children’s names: Taylor, Alex, Ezra, Tyler, Faith, Weston, Emilee, Caleb, Conner, Artie, Rylee, Sun-Yu, Rivers, Sasha, Haily, Wyatt, Courtland, Josue, Ilene.
Counting Money: We are counting money in math this week and next for both 1st and 2nd graders. You can help your student become more proficient by handing them change to count. Some of the 1st graders need extra practice on counting by 5’s and 10’s. That will make counting dimes and nickels easier.
