SHOW & TELL: No Show & Tell this week

Spelling: Grade 1: 1st grade spelling won’t begin for a few weeks. We will be reviewing beginning and ending sounds as well as learning the vowel sounds in phonics before the formal spelling tests begin. Reading: We have begun a new theme book for the month of October. The children seem fascinated with Cactus Hotel. We will be learning many interesting things about the deserts and the saguaro cactus.

Next Week: Mrs. O and Miss Bennett will be leading out in the classroom. I have some daily medical treatments so will be in and out.

Friday, October 8: Remember, Friday, 10/8 is our Teacher In-Service Day. There will be no school. The teachers are going to Camp MiVoden for an inspirational weekend.
