Spelling: Grade 2: 2nd Graders really need to practice their words! Second graders will be responsible for spelling the first grade words as well as their own. 11/5 it’s, they’re, you’re, she’s, can’t, children, doesn’t, I’m, he’s, we’re, because, aren’t 11/12 thorn, wheel, white, chain, thank, black, think, crash, whale, between, truck, something 11/19 brush, teeth, lunch, moth, punch, flash, bench, beach, ranch, stuck, after, other

Spelling: Grade 1: 11/4 pit, zip, bit, hit, sit, lid, kit

Book-it: The following students have received a Book-it Certificate for reading 240 plus minutes for the month of October: Jordan, Timmy, Brendan, Mackenzie, Taylor, Tyler, Weston, Emilee, Caleb, Colby, Artie, Conner, & Toby.

Parent-Teacher Conferences: Thank you for meeting your Parent-Teacher appointment time. It’s always good to talk about your student’s progress.

Veterans’ Day/Grandparents Breakfast: Thursday morning, November 11, we will be hosting a breakfast for Veterans and Grandparents in the gym from 7:00-7:45 followed by a short program. The 1st & 2nd graders will be reciting a poem about grandparents. Come and join us for breakfast and the program.
