Cookie Sale: On Friday, December 3, we raised $170.00 for ADRA with our cookie sale. Thank you for contributing cookies. It was a big success. $170 X 7= $1,190.00 The children love that big number.

We have stockings on a small Christmas tree where the children can deposit their offerings for ADRA. It’s exciting to count it and then multiply by 7 for the grand total. The offering will be sent to ADRA on December 17 after our Christmas party.

Happy Birthday: We were sorry that Taylor was sick and missed school on her birthday on Wednesday. Friday morning, December 10, Mackenzie is celebrating her big day with a Bounce House in the gym for all the 1st & 2nd graders to play in from 10:30 until noon. Mackenzie’s mom will be bringing pizza, apples & carrots for lunch for the children. There will be enough pizza for 2 pieces each.

Christmas Program: Be sure and mark your calendar for Thursday evening, December 16. Our Christmas program will begin at 6:30 that evening. 1st & 2nd Graders are singing Infant Holy, Infant Lowly, and Go Tell it On the Mountain as well as a group song at the end of the program with all the students.

50 Books: This week Toby, Conner & Weston have finished reading 50 books from our classroom library! They each received a Barnes & Noble Gift Certificate.

Email addresses: If you would like to receive this note on Wednesday evening via email, please send me your address. I already have 6 or 7 families that receive this note by email before the children receive it in hard copy Thursday afternoon.
