January Reading Calendar: The January Calendar is due on Tuesday morning, February 1. Please remind your student to bring it to school on that day. I’m including the February calendar in the Homework folder so you have it in hand. February is a short month so it’s important to keep up on the hour of reading a week. 240 minutes for the month
Friday, January 28: Mrs. Young will be filling in for me on Friday. I’m mentoring another teacher that day.
Pencils: Ask your student if he/she needs some new pencils. Some of the children are down to only 1 pencil. There are others who have a good supply.
Valentine’s Day Party: There will be a party on the afternoon of February 14. My rule for the day is that if a student brings cards, there must be one for everyone. Next week I will supply you with the list of classmates names.
