Weather: Some of the students have been wearing shorts already. Yes, the school handbook says that shorts may be worn after April 1. Please have your student check the weather before choosing to wear shorts. It’s been pretty cold during playtime this week.
Music Program: On Friday, April 8, the students from Upper Columbia Academy will be presenting a band & choral program at 10:30. The director always asks the younger students to stand by their favorite instrument during the last number. The students have a great time with that. If you can, join us for the program.
Substitute: Mrs. O will be filling in for me on Wednesday, April 13. It’s my mother’s 90th birthday so my plan is to spend the day with my mom. The students will be in good hands.
Teacher In-Service: Please remember that there will be no school on Monday, April 18. The teachers have an in-service day in Spokane.
