Reading A-Z books: A new routine will be happening each Tuesday for the remainder of the school year. I’m sending your student’s Reading A-Z book home to be read and studied with you before the quiz on Wednesday. (Make sure the book is returned on Wednesday morning in the homework folder.) Please sign the sticky note on the front of the book indicating that you listened to the book. Five students remembered that part of the routine this week. Thank you for your help at home.
Coming Events:

May 11: Pastor Bob Folkenberg, UCC Conference President will have our worship at 9:00 AM
May 14: The King’s Herald Quartet will have the church service at Riverview at 10:45 AM (join us if you can)
May 17—Track & Field Day at Edgar Brown Stadium
May 18- Health & Safety Fair fieldtrip at the TRAC

Spring holes!: This is the time of year that the boys especially have sprouted holes in the knees of their jeans. Remember holes need patches or reserve the pants for play instead of wearing to school. I find that the students tend to “play” with the threads and make the holes bigger. It’s a distraction.
Happy Mother’s Day!
