October 6, 2011

SHOW & TELL: An Indian artifact/picture (I’m switching Nov. 4 with Oct. 7—We’re reading The Warrior Maiden this month instead of We All Went on Safari which will be in November. Plans changed because the museum is closed in November so we need to have our field trip while it’s still open.)

MEMORY VERSE: I will be with thy mouth, I will be with thy mouth, and teach thee and teach thee what thou shalt say. Exodus 4 verse 12. (We are learning this to music and will sing it on Friday.)

Field Trip: On Friday, October 7, we will be going to the Country Mercantile Pumpkin Patch. Please have your student dress for the weather. It’s suddenly cooler than we’ve been used to! Tennis shoes and jackets would make the trip more enjoyable for the students.

Upcoming events:
October 7 Field Trip to the Pumpkin Patch
October 14 No School—Teacher In service

October 21 Field Trip to Sacajawea Park to study local Indians
