Update on the Family Picture: Please send a picture of your family for use on our classroom bulletin board. Thanks! I have only 8 pictures so far! Thanks to the 8 students who have brought yours in.

New Revised Class Enrollment: There are 11- 2nd graders, 8- 1st graders and 4- K-1 students in our classroom. The K-1 students join us at 11:40 Monday through Thursday. (A new student joined us on Tuesday, September 7—Jordan in 1st Grade)

Reading: I’m encouraging each student to check out a new book every day to take home and read in the evening. Some students have been forgetting to return their book, thus they can’t check out a new one until the previous checked-out book is back in the classroom. If a book is lost, the cost is $4.00 to pay for the book and be reinstated in the good graces of the book check-out system. (The price used to be $3.00, but if you’d noticed lately the cost of books has been climbing!)

Happy Birthday: Belated birthday greetings to Andrew who turned 6 on August 27 and Claudia who turned 6 on September 4. In the coming week Rylee will be 7 on September 12, followed by Conner’s 8th birthday on September 17.
